Global Internet Map from TeleGeography

TeleGeography has published a revised version of their “Global Internet Map” including findings from their Global Internet Geography research. The map‘s global projection traces the intercontinental links between the countries of Europe, Asia, North and Latin America, and Africa. Regional close-ups provide insight into key routes within each region.

Beside five connected circles representing the five continents the map features specialized visualization of various data like largest country route or internet bandwith. The complete map is commercially available as a printed version and fortunately you can grab a reduced map as a wallpaper ( 1280×800, 1440×900) to get a bit distracted from work from time to time.
