Handcrafted Time Mapping

Visualizing time is a tough topic which attracted many designers and artists’ attention, so is history, a quite subjective topic. Haohao Huang sticked for his Master thesis to what he believes in as a graphic designer by using info graphics as an approach to visualize history.

Some further visualizations document the findings and correlations that emerged during the analog analysis process.

Haohao Huang’s work is an impressive piece of a hybrid of graphic–, information design and data art. Visualizing this amount of data using solely analog tools renders a unique and refreshing view on the data.
