Interactive Explanations about the Blue Whale

National Geographics has created “Kingdom of the Blue Whale“, an interactive application to explore the scale, anatomy, behavior and ecosystem of a Blue Whale. Some remarkeble facts shown in illustrations, images, animations and videos can be discovered using a basic interaction model. The interaction level is quite low but adequate for the target audience. As in the previously mentioned “So Many A Second” the value of animations and visualization makes data more tangible and more easy to grasp.
