#TOC Tweets Visualization

The #TOC Tweets visualization is another great attempt to visualize the conversations on Twitter about a specific topic. Andrew Savikas & Liza Daly created a static HTML grid of all the Twitter users, who have tagged their tweets with #toc using Ruby as the scripting language.

Andrews approach focuses on the pure visual power of the profile pictures of the users. By clicking on a user-image, you see the Tweet and time it’s been posted. Andrew was kind enough to share the XML he used to generate the visualization as well as the workflow he used to create the XML.
