Transforming a Place into Memory Provoking Gold Earrings

Fluid Forms, maker of the fabulous Street Clock and other data driven artefacts, plan to create a new unique object and this time it’s something for the ladies. Street Earrings is custom jewelry you can design yourself online by choosing your favorite place.

The earrings are acid etched from stainless steel or gold plated. You can choose any place you want and crop the area from OpenStreet Maps data. This means every piece is unique and you’re in full controll of the design. Fluid Forms is crowd-funding the production of the first batch of Earrings. They use a Kickstarter Project to raise $1500 for finishing the development of the product and to create the first batch.
