Web Trend Map 4

iA Architects is finishing up the 4th issue of the Web Trend Map. The thoughts behind the map are best described by the creators:

The Web Trend Map is a yearly publication by iA Inc. It maps the 333 most influential Web domains and the 111 most influential Internet people onto the Tokya Metro map.

Each station is illustrated in a way to show more details about the represented domain or person. The stations are grouped by company behind them and the people are positioned loosely next to the “rail track”.

The actual version is still Beta and the creators encourage you to send in inputs, advice or corrections. Once all updates and refinements are done the map will be available as a printed version with a limit of 1000 pieces, so hurry up to reserve your DIN A0 print.
