World Cup Schedule

Finally we can follow the football results in a visually pleasing way: Martin Oberhäuser has created this beautiful playing schedule for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
The plan consists of a radial representation of the rounds and shows the path every team will follow over the course of the competition. Teams and groups are color coded and link the schedule calendar with the group listings. Additionally every game is linked to the hosting stadium to give some geographical context.

Overall it’s a beautifully designed piece that separates itself nicely from the majority of similar productions. The plan is also seperately available here.
