The Society for News Design has published the call for entries for the 18th International Graphics Awards. The deadline is February 5th and only works that were published between January 1 and December 31, 2009 may be submitted. The winners will be announced at the closing dinner during the Infographics World Summit, on March12, 2010.

It’s more like a rough guideline for creating an infographic than a precise analysis of the concepts behind it but it’s worth a read nonetheless. Sneh explaines the basics of the three parts Visual, Content and Knowledge.
